Development geophysicist for Noble's Eastern Mediterranean business unit covering both our Israel and Cyprus assets. My current role incorporates the interpretation of seismic data, assisting in the creation and validation of our reservoir models, well ties and reserve calculations.
In addition, I also take an active role with the geophysical, risking and young professional committees within Noble Energy. These committees help to ensure Nobles bright future and quality of our technical work.
EXPLORATION EXCELLENCE GROUP
As a team member of the exploration excellence group, assisted in the analysis of the risk and probability of success for Noble's prospects. Risk analysis includes risk of hydrocarbon source, timing and migration of hydrocarbons, reservoir quality, structural or stratigraphic closure and hydrocarbon containment.
Analyzed our inversion predictions for net to gross with discovered values to evaluate predictability of net to gross.
EAST MEDITERRANEAN SEA:
Development geophysicist in team that drilled 3 wells into the Plio-Pleistocene reservoirs off the coast of Israel. These wells were critical to assure natural gas was available to Israel. Created synthetics to ensure we entered the correct reservoir, predicted tops of sands from time to depth conversion.
MISSISSIPPI CANYON: GULF OF MEXICO
Worked on prospect maturation of Noble's successful Big Bend discovery; including the worst case discharge calculation (WCD); which is now needed for all permits in the Gulf of Mexico.
Interpreted regional seismic horizons using well ties to paleo data over our large reprocessed 3d seismic data in Mississippi Canyon and Green Canyon
WEST AFRICA: CAMEROON
While working in our West Africa group I generated and developed prospects for drilling. This included interpreting seismic data, time to depth conversions, resource estimations, well synthetic ties, AVO analysis, and risk assessment.
Worked on the Anadarko basin looking at re-completion opportunities.
Worked with Petra and Landmark software.
Mapped the Highland Lowland Boundary located on the Northern Hemisphere of Mars in the Utopia basin using GIS.
