Assisted in designing a fuel tank and flip out tail unit of an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) and calculate the pressure and temperature difference inside the three chambers of fuel tank.
Modeled more than 500 major Component of UAV in CATIA V5, using modules like Sheet metal, Part Design, Wire frame and surfacing , Generative Shape Design according to the requirement of the part and assembled it.
Generated the aeroprofile shape of wings of UAV in CATIA V5 using the give data (coordinate points) provided by aerodynamic division.
Conducted structural analysis of Wings, fuel tank and locking mechanism in Patran and Nastran.
Preprocessing was done in Hypermesh.
Based the results from CAE software did many iterations to modify and revise the design.
Responsible for creating 2D drawings of flip out tail unit (part, sub-assembly, assembly) in AutoCAD and applied GD&T to designs to provide precision.

Designed preliminary model of a detuner (A generic term for gas turbine engine test cell exhaust system) using the data provided, suitable for a small turbo shaft engine test room.
Conducted thermal and structural analysis on the preliminary model using Ansys software and came out with suitable design, shape, thickness, length and material for detuner after many iterations, which can sustain the high exhaust heat coming out from the engine and cool down the exhaust gas when leaving out in atmosphere.
Assisted in manufacturing the of the detuner.
