•Welcomes patients by greeting in person or on the phone and answers and refers inquiries.
•Scheduling and canceling appointments and daily office administrative tasks (answering phone calls faxing,) and maintains health records, financial records, ensures proper documentation and confidentiality of records.
•Performs inventory, orders and stocks clinic supplies as needed Patient Support/Back Office •Prepares patient for health care visit by accompanying patients to the exam room, gathers clinical information, biometrics, and patient demographics through the use of electronic medical records.
•Performs routine injections and vaccinations, phlebotomy, processes lab specimens for send-out, basic lab testing and assist providers with minor procedures.
•Educating on the use of software and information technology for the patients and families.
•Triage participants, answering and making phone calls to and from participants for recruitment, perform an estimate of 32 to 360 and more blood draws (straight stick, blood bags, butterflies, IV catheter, syringe, and finger sticks) a day, vitals, EKG’s, urine collection fecal collection, Telemetry, Extractions, IV placements, meal and snack distribution in a fast paced and productive environment.
•Study Setup-create, allocate, and supervise, the creation of batch orders, organization and printing of collection records and protocol documents, and labeling of blood, plasma, urine, tubes and cryo vials.
•Study Conduct for Admission, Duration, and Discharge-prepares exam rooms and areas to comply with study protocol, collect, record, and document specimen collection and retrieval, report abnormalities, incidents, adverse events, abnormal lab results, and injuries and hazards.
•Laboratory Procedures-create and maintain specimen logs and tracking sheets, and freezing times, centrifuging, urine aliquot (PH levels, temperatures, and quantity)
•Routine Lab Maintenance-disinfection, biomedical waste management and disposal.
•Front Desk/Reception Answering the phones, greeting and directing guests, staff, monitors, sponsors, auditors, and visitors, mail management, filing and coping documents.
•Recruiting Calling potential participants to participate in study trials, returning participant calls who are interested in study trails, screen for study trials, scheduling and canceling participant's screening appointments, updating returning participants demographic, and study participation information and entering new participants’ information into the system.
