Ten year associate with The Home Depot recognized by management as Operation Associate of the Month multiple times. The Home Depot started program to recognize excellence in customer service in 2010. Since the creation of this program I have been awarded 24 badges for Customer Service Excellence.
I consistently work with multiple customers and associates during the day, managing phone calls, coordinating measures and installs, and working directly with installers regarding issues that arise during and after install.
I working with customers from the time the measure is sold, coordinating special order after sale is made, scheduling with the installer, during the install, and through the labor warranty time period.
Due to years of service and knowledge with The Home Depot I am used as coverage in other areas of our store, such as Special Services Desk covering incoming phone calls and working with customers picking up orders from the store, Front End working on register and coordinating breaks and lunches for cashiers, Kitchen Backup Sales Associate working with customers on sales such as stock cabinet orders, counter top estimation and vanity top special orders.
Started with The Home Depot as a Full Time Cashier Oct, '03. Within 90 days of employment I was promoted to Head Cashier, coordinating shift changes, breaks and lunches of Cashiers. Trained directly with Front End Supervisor on metric reporting of cashiers and used this information to help train cashiers on improving their sales and customer service skills.
Feb '05 transitioned into acting Front End Supervisor while supervisor was on leave. Heading the training for the entire front end team (30 associates) working directly with management on shrink issues, safety issues, and overall store issues.
March '05 transitioned to Service Desk Associate when Supervisor returned. This position allowed me to begin training in specialty areas of the store: Flooring, Doors and Windows, and Kitchens. Worked directly with customers in store and on phone with pickup of special orders, and resolving issues on special orders.
In March of '07 I had the opportunity to transfer to another store in The Home Depot.
Attended Presentation Academy 1999-2002 completed education to receive High School Diploma.
