I am a former Crisis Line Volunteer and interventionist with proven skills in listening and communicating with individuals in extreme distress. I have been recognized by previous employers as a successful worker proficient in guiding callers through counseling, referrals and de-escalation techniques. I am dependable in using prepared scripts and following safety protocols. I am an ambitious student pursuing a degree in psychology and eager to contribute developed knowledge in a human services role. I have accumulated skills in high stress and interventio in diverse and difficult settings, such as suicide/self-harm prevention and domestic violence intervention and safety planning.
