I'm a highly motivated individual who's developed a clear understanding of maintaining small habits within my day to mitigate the effects of climate change. As a member of the University of California Santa Cruz's Women's Soccer Team, I have developed skills of teamwork, perseverance, and time management. I have completed two full courses to better understand the climate crisis and have found a way to implement this information into my own life while also engaging others in my community to do the same. I'm a driven student-athlete who wants to challenge their studies by helping to provide more research and effectiveness on how our community can develop innovative strategies to produce efficiency in the ways that energy is produced and ways to get clean water to those in need. I'm seeking hands-on experience for my intended career path, thus becoming an environmental science major in the upcoming future. I'm hoping that this job will allow me to collectively obtain prioritization skills, a better understanding of energy efficiency, and ways to support organizations that are wanting to establish better healthcare for all humans and animals that get to call Earth their home.
