My background includes, being a Computer Technician with background in imaging, hardware troubleshooting and replacing, Windows and UNIX based Operating Systems, organizing and administrating large networks, and helping/teaching others about Informational Technology. I am very easy to work with and pick up new subjects very fast.
I have gained a lot of experience from taking part/commanding the following : Being theSaxophone section leader, a swim team captain, lead student computer technician, and "that guy" that gets pulled out of afternoon classes because of network issues. More than once. I also perform personal computer work and services through the Oskaloosa community. From iPhones, iPads, Kindles, and laptops, a day never goes by without someone asking me a question about their device, or if I can fix it!
I have worked with Apple and Dell computers in troubleshooting and repairing in the OCSD. I have also worked with all three major brands of Operating Systems too (Windows XP-8, Mac OS X, and several Linux distributions). A major asset I have is being able to properly maintain and detect network anomalies on a large-scale network. Also, large scale client management services such as JAMF's Casper Suite, and Symantec's Mobile Management are at the forefront of my management skill. While not behind the counter fixing computers, I was at the front Help Desk for the high school; entertaining students' questions about our technology. The Oskaloosa High School entered into a 1:1 laptop program the fall of 2011. This has kept me plenty busy since day one.
