ANALYSIS AND REVIEW: Ensure that insurance programs meet or exceed organization\'s (Servicer\'s) and Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Hud, etc. (Lender\'s) guidelines to preserve financial and operational continuity for mutual interests (including Borrower\'s). Review specific risk and blanket property and liability risks. And, use personal judgment in determining sufficiency when discriminate guidelines have not been established.
  • Review loan balances and insurable values for appropriate limits of coverage on property replacement for all perils including catastrophic losses (e.g., hurricane, zoning, windstorm, seismic, flood, terrorism risks and etc.), new construction, claim reconstruction, and maintenance projects. Review limits on all types of liability risks to include (e.g. general liability, automobile, professional, worker\'s compensation, contractor\'s, D&O, and etc.) all analysis on risk concentrations pertaining to catastrophic losses due to wind, seismic risks, terrorism risks, etc.
  • Ensure adequate insurance limits, self-insured retention, risk-retention and purchasing programs, blanket risk programs, deductible buy-downs, gap policies, and more. Interpreting and making recommendations on policy terminology, endorsements, and manuscripts.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to insurance analysts on compliance reviews.
  • Perform quarterly reviews and audit reports on "large borrower" portfolios up to and exceeding $10 billion in collateral across the United States.
  • Create reports for Executives and VPs of portfolio: risk analysis; insurance monitoring; catastrophic risk exposure; 3rd party (GSE) compliance; financial analysis of debt service, premiums, risk retention, claims, and waivers of coverage.
  • Provide support for internal and external audits by managing documentation from loan inception to current renewal terms and department audits.
  • Develop investigative strategies to address suspected fraudulent submissions and omissions by borrowers and brokers.
COLLABORATING WITH INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS:
  • Resolve program integrity issues as representative of the organization and lender on matters regarding the risk administration program and asset loan servicing with other agencies and committees. And, contribute to policy development.

Evaluated needs, developed, and executed client development for 2nd largest environmental and waste management solutions company in the US.
