  • Responsibilities which include working directly with the contracting state of Hawaii to screen all incoming inmates, completing an initial intake of all inmates entering the facility, discussing the Prison Rape Elimination Act with all incoming inmates, completing a Sexual Violence Screening Tool on all incoming inmates for the company and for the state of Hawaii, completing a company and Hawaii classification on all incoming inmates and yearly thereafter, compiling and distributing monthly paperwork and Hawaii requests to Case Managers weekly and monthly, setting up and assigning legal calls and Parole/Probation video conferences for the inmate population, assigning 1,372 inmates to jobs and/or education according to their classification, escapes, current crimes and institutional violence, maintaining an in detail job roster for accountability of all inmates assigned to institutional jobs and/or education, entering and batching pay monthly for 1, 372 inmates, monthly reports to the corporate office, monthly report for the Investigation's department concerning Security Threat Group member's job and/or education assignments, adding and maintaining alerts on keep separate issues between inmates to ensure facility and inmate safety, completing fingerprint cards and DNA swabbing when requested by Hawaii, entering detainers lodged against inmates into the Offender Management System.

  • Also responsible for completing classifications on my caseload of up to 180 inmates, ensuring all legal deadlines were met, completing job reviews for inmates institutional employment, annual committee paperwork through the state of California.
  • Assisting with contract transition from California to Arizona inmates and loading of AZDOC inmates into the facility.

  • Completing inmate grievances during my role as Acting Unit Manager, Completing 5-1 incident packets updating the Offender Management System and ensuring all policy and procedures were being adhered to by all staff and inmates.

  • Responsibilities which included compiling reports weekly and monthly for Assistant Wardens and Chiefs, memo writing upon request, daily mandatory staffing patterns for the state of California, auditing and correcting all incident packets for Washington, Hawaii, California and Alaska contracts.
  • Traveling to California for training on contractual and policy changes.
  • Ensuring incident packets for corporate office were complete and accurate, tracked all packets from start to finish and maintained facility KPI's and produced reports.

  • Responsible for constructing inmate central files, daily filing of paperwork, monthly audits of inmate files, preparing meal cards for inmate population facility feeding, organizing and sending out inmate's files during transfers and updating the Offender Management System with relevant information.
  • Other duties involved directly working with the Education Department, Quality Assurance Department, and Disciplinary Hearing Office and in the inmate housing units during inmate movement.
