As the the weeks go by we continue move into more advance strategies. In the last half hour of class kids will have time to play each other.A basic lesson plan would consist of learning how pieces move, chess opening, and solving diagrams and puzzles. Most importantly I try to teach them that chess is fun and learn how to be competitive while being a good sport.
to Current SFYBL San Francisco Baseball All Star Coach. I help developed and polish the baseball skills of 10-13 year old which provided them the ability to compete in games. A typical Practice last for 2 hours, where they worked on throwing, fielding, and hitting. While teaching kids to win may be important for most programs, the main emphasize of our practice is to instill good baseball habits such as being good sports and being punctual for practice, and ultimately having fun while they learn and grow in better athlete. In doing so, they build confidence in themselves and build good memories which they can carry on forever.
