Dear Ms. Lupita Medrano,: I wish to apply for the Chaplaincy position for as published in the North Platte Telegraph Newspaper this week.. As you probably know, I have 6 years experience as a Tyson Chaplain at your 2400 Team Member Plant in Lexington as well as 6 years pastoral ministry experience. I would like to 'move up” the Tyson Fresh Meats ladder of success while continuing to encourage people as I have been called by God. I have a Master's Degree of Divinity (1994) including CPE (Clinical Pastoral Education) units. I am well versed in the need for sensitivity to other cultures and peoples. I have experience counseling one-on-one with people of all races, nationalities and cultures. I am a team player, but can also handle individual projects and tasks. Just this week I completed the ASIST Suicide Preventino Training. I understand Spanish, although I am not able to speak it fluently. I am willing to continue my education and go back to school to learn Spanish should that be desirable to the company. I understand you are completing academic work to fulfill the HR Complex Maqnager job description requirements and I appreciate Tyson's flexibility. Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have at XXX-324-8276 (office phone) Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday mornings. My current part-time hourly position restricts the hours I am present in the office. If there's no answer it may be because I am out attending to duties of my current position..
