I love my job in my office, but I would also love to teach nursing students and share my knowledge and passion for the nurses of the future! I would like to continue to work in my office and teach Nursing on a Part-time/Adjunctive basis.
I am hardworking and reliable with a strong ability in communication and have a high ethical standard. I am highly organized, proactive and punctual with a team-oriented mentality.
I am a very seasoned nurse with almost 35 years of nursing experience in a wide variety of care environments. My passion is teaching and thusly went back to school for my MSN. I hope to share that knowledge of Nursing with others!
In May of 2018, I obtained my Master's Degree in Education in Nursing with focus on Diabetes, focus on healthy lifestyle management and teaching. I obtained my Certification in Diabetes Education and currently am a CDE. I educate many patients in our office and surrounding offices on diabetes care and healthy life style planning. This has been very rewarding. I enjoy working with individuals as well as the group setting.
Prior to my current position I worked at the Cleveland Clinic Anticoagulation Clinic.
I began my nursing career in 1986 at Hillcrest Hospital which is part of the Cleveland Clinic Organization. I have worked in many settings there such as Medical/Surgical units, OB, Step-down, but for the most part (over 10 years) I was in the Coronary Care Unit.
After 20 years as an Associate Degree Nurse, I just wanted to engage in lifelong learning and my love of nursing
