My name is Grace Popa. I am driven, and very motivated to do the correct thing for the correct reason. I am extremely interested in the world we occupy, and our natural surroundings. I believe that we need to preserve what beautiful things we have around us. I was in the Saline FFA Chapter, and even served as an Officer for 2 years. Unfortunately, I hit road bumps, as do we all. I was diagnosed with a chronic illness, which occupied most of my time, forcing me to resign as Officer. I am still driven to be a leader rather than a follower. I participated in several clubs including FFA, FCCLA, and the Saline Marching Band, where I served as a Squad Leader and Section Leader. I encourage equal treatment where-ever I go, because I know that bullying is a serious issue in our world, and strive to eliminate as much of it as possible. I enjoy public speaking, and have participated in the National-level FFA Public Speaking Contest for 2+ years. I made it to the National Level by writing, preparing, memorizing, and presenting an 8+ minute speech to an audience including 3 judges. Overall, I believe in fair treatment, standing up for the Earth, and living life to the fullest.
