I actually have quite an extensive background, covering very diversified areas. My main interest in the past has been face to face sales,as it is a very comfortable position for me,given my personality. As a general rule,I would have to say I have never met a stranger, and I thoroughly enjoy meeting new people, making new friends and acquaintances, and I am VERY honest.
Developed highly effective sales training strategies as Sales Manager of a 12-person team.
Managed a successful sales team of 12 members who consistently exceeded sales goals by 5-10% each month.
Started at the bottom at several different companies, only to rise to the very top rung of the business ladder
As a member of the union,I worked on several different projects, which were all labor intensive, and also very mentally challenging. As a rule, people tend to believe that being a carpenter is all about cutting wood, and nailing it.But to the contrary,a union carpenter does a wide array of jobs, including, but not limited to,reading blueprints, working with various textiles, and overall, just about everything there is to do with construction.
Shared product knowledge with customers while making personal recommendations.Maintained friendly and professional customer interactions.Generated leads through telemarketing, canvassing, and working vendors booths at various locations.
This was a small business that I owned, and operated, out of my home at the time.I led sales calls with team members to establish sales and customer retention goals.I had to close my operation because I had a girlfriend at the time who owned this business with me,and when our relationship ended,I could not keep going.
I worked in virtually every aspect of this business, and the reason I left was to open my own business of the same type.
