I began my career in Law Enforcement in 1993 as a Deputy Sheriff with the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, In 2003 Jessica joined the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office as a Road Patrol Deputy and serve on the Task Force One Dive Team. In 2007, I was assigned as a detective to the Investigative Unit where I worked major, complex criminal cases. In 2014 I was promoted to the rank of Sergeant of the Investigative Unit. In 2017 I was promoted to Captain and continued to manage Investigations as well as the Clermont County Narcotics Unit. I obtained my peace officer certification from the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy in London Ohio. I continued my professional education by attending a number of advanced investigative courses which included Homicide Investigation at the University of Louisville Southern Police Institute, CVSA (Certified Voice Stress Analysis) operator, and am a certified firearms instructor. I graduated from Public Safety Leadership Academy, John Glenn College of Public Affairs, at The Ohio State University in June 2017.
