A Cage Cashier is a front line cashier for the Casino's vault. We continuously greet customers to meet their needs and give them a positive experience. This position's duties included:
As a Vault Cashier you provide all necessary cash and coin to the front line cashiers and take in their checks, coupons, and damaged or old money. This position is a supervising position for the shift you are on and any cashiers working within this same shift. In this position you must balance the vault, verify cashiers drawers at their shifts end, provide table fills and credits, keep track of decks of cards like they are money in our vault, and use a few computer programs to accomplish these tasks and more. Started as a cashier, after a month or two began supervising. These positions include all of the same duties that are previously listed and on a much larger scale. Doing currency exchange on Canadian money at this location is just as common as exchanging U.S. bills to make change. This larger location made the new position a little more of a challenge and that keeps the job interesting.
