With little or no supervision, I oversaw final test of ventilators . The final test Impact EMV 731 Ventilator (Z Vent) was ready to be packaged and exported from the company. All final tests were done by manually switching, attachable, and detachable test parts to set the correct parameters into the Z vent, all while being hooked up to the computer at the same time. Visually masking sure the display screen was wot showing any damaged parts or defects in any part of the tests what so ever. When it came to completing the final task at hand I would sign off each ventilator using a control system by Oracle data base, matching each ventilator one more time to its own serial and product number. These tasks were run on ventilators that passed as well as failed. All tests that failed were tested again, insuring that the failures were not on behalf of myself or the computer. This was done on a day to day basis.
Running and serving food along with alcoholic beverages. Making sure guest have all their needs met in a certain amount of time. Handled lots of cash throughout your whole shift, as well as credit cards and credit card slips, making sure the slips are safe as well as safely rung into the computer, keeping the slips in good shape to hand over at the end of the night. Multitasking running side work during shifts as well as side work when your shift is over. Being able to carry at least 50-60 pounds was required at least for some servers. Listening and paying attention as well as timing was a huge part of this job, at this particular restaurant, everything was timed. From the time the guest's sit at the table, to the time they get their drinks, salads, appetizer's and food was a huge part of the organization. Sanitizing absolutely everything after a table was done with it or us as servers were done with it was a must as well as using masks, gloves and a specific type of uniform. This organization is known as a “big dog” in the restaurant business so knowing how to politely deal with difficult or stressful situations in a professional way is a must
Serving breakfast and lunch foods for the majority of the morning and afternoon. Handled the cash register, along with the computers. Cleaning at the end of my shift was a per usual and side work during work per usual. Most restaurants are the same type of repetitive work just in different kinds of ways, depending on the owner, but in similar ways as well because it's the same job title. Some restaurants are just a lot busier and are faster paced. I'd have to say this was slow but steady at times, and then extremely busy at of no where. Being able to balance repetitive work and different types of and paces and people as well as multitask is a huge part of working at a cafe or diner.
