Experience
Auto Dismantler/ Technician, 2012 - Current
The Hertz Corporation Moline, IL,

At Oak Leaf Auto Salvage, my experience consists of taking all kinds of cars and trucks apart without wrecking anything and testing the parts that go into inventory or out the door. I also do the maintenance on some of the equipment at O.L.A.S.. The reason I am leaving is because my wife has skin troubles in the winter and the doctor said moving south is the best option. I also would like to work at a dealership based on my dads recommendation (he used to be an auto technician himself). Supervisor -- Josh Wood at XXX-362-9445 and Owner Jason Gerdes at XXX-369-5270

Auto Technician, 10/2006 - 04/2012
East Side Auto City, STATE,

This was my first job outside of working on the farm growing up. As a result, I was fairly green in the automotive world, especially because I didn't go to college for automotive. My experience at East Side consisted of working on mostly everything. As time went on, I began getting a lot of the jobs nobody else wanted to do and jobs that require a lot of patience and precision. I don't have much training aside from parts stores affiliated classes and Hunter training. The reason I left ESA was to help my dad after his main farm hand left. Owner and boss -- Jason Gerdes at XXX-369-5270

Farm Hand/ Mechanic/ Fabricator, 02/2011 - 11/2011
Narrow Way Organic Farm City, STATE,

This job consisted working for my dad on his dairy farm. I pretty much did anything that needed to be done including milking cows, working on equipment, a few fabrication jobs, and field work. The reason I changed jobs was because I just enjoyed working on cars to much to continue farming. Owner and boss -- Andrew Claire at XXX-873-4739

Hunter Alignment certifications -- Basic and Intermediate

State of Wisconsin Refrigerant Safety and Handling certification
