I worked for DST/SS&C for 21 years, Over those years I worked with many different types of managers, teams and roles. I started as a phone representative and then quickly promoted to senor to train and review calls. After 2 years of customer service I moved to a processing team. I worked with stocks at that time which was a venture DST was bringing in. I traveled to New Jersey for the company to be trained from the client there to bring the knowledge back to our team. I worked on a special processing team. I then moved to another team that was dedicated to State Farm Mutual funds. I worked with that team until maternity leave. After that I came back in a part time role. I was processing but then a team was created to monitor quality and productivity of all teams, full time, part time and our new off shore teams. When the off shore team was formed the managers traveled from India to Kansas City and myself and another associated trained them on the day to day work and workflow. My role after that was to run reports for quality and productivity and mentor those struggling. I also controlled workflow and moved associates to what "queues" needed the most help and what needed to be done same day. I was part time for 7 years. I came back full time on to the adjustments team. This role was to make any corrections/adjustments on past processing transactions and also review and research if an actual correction is needed. After 1 year I moved to the clients liaison team and worked closely with our external clients. This role lasted several years. The company itself merged liaison and special operations during that time so then special processing was added back to my role. I did this until I moved to my final position as Associate Financial Operations Analyst. This role was more behind the scenes, Tickets would be submitted tp us to fix workflow, update procedures, fix system functionality issues, fund events.
