Dear [Hiring Manager],
I am writing to introduce myself and provide a brief overview of my personal background. As the former Dean of Academic Affairs at the New York Presbyterian Theological Seminary from 2016-2020, I have extensive experience in higher education administration and leadership.
Currently, I serve as the Associate Dean of Students and Associate Dean of Academic Affairs at the Washington Theological Seminary, a position I started in 2021. In this role, I have been responsible for developing and implementing student support programs, overseeing academic policies and procedures, and collaborating with faculty and staff to enhance the overall student experience.
In addition to my work in higher education, I have also served as the Senior Pastor of NY Shion Seong Presbyterian Church since 2009. This experience has allowed me to develop strong interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to provide pastoral care and guidance to individuals from diverse backgrounds.
I am excited about the opportunity to bring my skills and expertise to a new role and make a positive impact within your organization. Thank you for considering my application.
Sincerely, [Jessica Claire, Ph.D.]
