Worked closely with our client's Human Resources professionals and offshore and onshore management to obtain U.S. immigration benefits for foreign national employees. Ensured legal compliance and the successful transfer of our client's global workforce.


  • Nonimmigrant Visa Administration: Prepared non-immigrant visa petitions and applications for the L-1A, L-1B, TN, O-1, and H-1B categories. Compiled and analyzed supporting documentation, prepared requisite forms, and drafted customized support letters.

  • Immigrant Visa Petitions: Prepared I-140 immigrant visa petitions in the EB-1 category for Outstanding Researchers, Multinational Managers, and those with Extraordinary Ability in the Arts. Analyzed and collected supporting exhibits and drafted comprehensive support letters. Worked closely with foreign nationals in revising referee letters for Outstanding Researcher and Extraordinary Ability in the Arts cases. Most notably, contributed to the approval and success of more than 50 Outstanding Researcher cases.

  • Request for Evidence (RFE) Responses: Managed and successfully responded to a high volume of complex RFEs for L-1A, L-1B, H-1B, and I-140 petitions with a high approval rate.

  • PERM: Meticulously prepared PERM labor certifications, DOL Audit responses, and conducted in-depth research on alternate wage surveys, which were successfully used and accepted by the DOL in Prevailing Wage Determinations.

  • Adjustment of Status Applications: Prepared I-485, I-765, and I-131 forms for adjustment applications and compiled required documentation by working closely with foreign nationals.

  • Client relations: Participated in client conference calls and meetings to discuss strategies and solutions for immigration matters. Corresponded with foreign nationals and HR personnel throughout case preparation.

  • Research: Authored memorandums focused on distinct immigration issues, including the consequences of CIMT convictions on immigration status (i.e. the ability to apply for permanent residency and naturalization).

  • Professional Practices: Actively participated in firm-wide training opportunities and monthly professional practices meetings for associates. Stayed abreast of the latest trends and issues affecting corporate immigration.
