Additional Information

Volunteer Community Service :

I have participated in many volunteer based community events. During High School I was selected to be an Explorer with the Kent County Sheriff's Office. This program was similar to an internship. My experience there included ride-alongs with Deputies, directing traffic, and assisting the Sheriff's Office with Community Events. My volunteer service continued after becoming a certified Police Officer. Some of those services included participating in our county's "shop with a cop" program for several consecutive years, and becoming the first child mentor in my county through the Big Brother Organization. I have experience in private security contracting as well. These experience include hotel security, car security and special event security. I have assisted the United States Secret Service with details for the First Family under the Obama Administration, and I have protected VIP's from Fox News during the George Floyd Protests in D.C. I have also protected international clients and provided security for hotels, large events, and other private clients. In addition, I was a member of the Kent Rescue Squad for approximately 5 years which is a local Volunteer EMS/Fire Organization. During this time I attended and completed the EMT program through the Maryland Fire and Rescue Institution. My duties there included basic patient care and operation of the ambulances and other emergency vehicles. Furthermore, I have been a member of the Queen Anne's County FOP Lodge for approximately 4 years. During my time with the FOP, I served as a board member and held the position of Treasurer, Vice-President and President. My duties with the FOP Lodge have included representing our lodge's officers with legal issues and community relations, handling all Social Media accounts, and handling all membership & financial obligations for the lodge. I am very proud of all my work based and volunteer accomplishments and projects. I feel very strongly about volunteering in my community and I plan on joining another Fire/EMS Organization if I am able to find a career opportunity with a schedule that allows me to do so.
