-Tig welding is the process used for all work in this field.

-Materials used in this field consisted of 5xxx and 6xxx series aluminum alloys. Anodized aluminum, mill finish aluminum and 304 stainless steel.

-anodized aluminum, In my professional opinion is the most difficult metal to weld as the .0010-.0020 thousandths thick layer of anodized coating melts around 3000 degrees (F) and the aluminum beneath has a melting point of around 1,300 (F).

- Machine used at this shop was a Miller synchrowave 250. (liquid cooled). with pure Argon for gas shielding.

-Proficient in using custom machinery and/or tools to cut and form each individual piece such as

custom silicon dye roll benders , Hydraulic benders, Diamond tipped cut saws , Jigs, Band saws and Jig saws.

  • Started working part time with All air of south dade inc. in 2002. I was the second employee hired from the point of inception and eventually would go on to be longest tenured employee at all air of south dade until i left the company in 2016.
  • After a few years of learning i became install crew lead.
