My name is Jessica Claire. I am 19 years of age, born and raised in Las Vegas. I own a vehicle so I am always on time. I'm the youngest in my family, I have 1 older sister, 3 nephews and 1 niece. I'm very family orientated, and would rather spend my time outdoors doing something active than sitting inside. I matured at a very young age, I have always set high goals for myself and I tend to reach them faster than planned. I've learned I need to worry about what is good for myself more, rather than what is good for everyone else. I have a very big heart, I love helping and meeting new people, I always have, and always will!
I started homeschooling my sophomore year of high school when I decided I wanted a job. I went to school one day a week, for 4 hours and did my homework then. I had to be responsible and willing to get my work done. I had no one over my shoulder making sure it was getting done, I only had myself. I love working in groups as well as by myself.
I graduate in June of 2012 with a blue honors cord and a 3.5 GPA.
I have been working at Styles for Less for 11 months now and I haven't been in the bottom of our conversion goal in over 9 months. I have processed an average of 50 transactions each day in a timely manner. Opened and closed the store, which included counting cash drawers and making bank deposits. Computed sales prices, total purchases and processed payments.Replenished floor stock and processed shipments to ensure product availability for customers. Working retail is very stressful but than again it is a very upbeat job!
** Looking to put my two weeks in as soon as possible.
I started working for the company in June of 2012, and by August of 2012 I was moved up to a manager position. I was very dedicated and at one point I was working all 6 locations. I love to make people smile and make sure they are getting the services they needed. I informed guests of spa services, programs and activities over the phone and in person. Coordinated and booked all spa service appointments for individual and group clients. We were trained too offer refreshments of ice water and iced tea to all incoming guests.
When I started working for John Parris, he was the most unorganized attorney I had ever met. My job was to get him back on track, help him alphabetize all 200+ of his cases, contact clients he hadn't be able to get a hold of, do court runs and jail runs. I also had 1 on 1 interviews with his clients, made his appointments and ran the office. Working for a criminal attorney taught me a lot about everyday life here in Las Vegas.
I have prepared Carl for trial by organizing case exhibits and evidence. Managed the trial calendar, judicial calendar and master calendar. Organized client calendars, contacted clients, contacted the Las Vegas Justice Courts, and the CCDC. As well as, answering phones and case filing.
I needed a little extra cash, and I walked in Party City too drop off my application and I was hired on the spot. I was mainly on the sales floor selling costumes during Halloween time. Occasionally I would do the sales register. I enjoyed doing both. I loved to interact with the customers and recommend costumes or accessories to bring their costume together.
