  • A Best Practices approach is to be taken in the execution of this important pre-employment activity.
  • Verify, schedules and documents timely completion of orientation procedures for all new employees according to the policies and procedures of the agency and ensures a supervised training of those new employees based upon the On Boarding Procedures, which is to be ongoing, followed and implemented.
  • With the Director of Human Resources recommends employee relations practices which will promote employee morale and contribute to improved employee satisfaction by identifying and responding to concerns and developing morale-building programs.
  • Assists the Director of Human Resources in the coordinating, the transfer, promotion, lay-off, recall, demotion, and termination of employees.
  • Assists the Director of Human Resources in organizational planning and forecasting of manpower needs.
  • In accordance with agency procedures provides reference information to prospective employers on former employees upon written consent of the former employee within agency guidelines.
