My role as the Manager of the AHM Virtual Garage is to manage my team to support digital assets for the marketing agencies to create their digital advertising assets to support Build and Price, Web, Broadcast and any and all assets that require CGI in support of the application.

Responsibilities of management to my team in this role are as follows:

  • Manage timing with both engineering and marketing to be able to deliver assets in time to support end users needs.
  • Gather all engineering documentation to confirm correct part application and latest revision of parts and features.
  • Gather all material application information and generate digital representation of the materials and properly apply said materials to their proper components.
  • Convert the engineering data and perform the data preparation which includes but not limited to, removing B-Side Surface, Proper Tesselation to support required resolution per application, assign proper materials and create properly configured trim applications.
  • Create a Master File that restructures the engineering release CAD data in a structure that is more applicable to rendering artists.
  • Conduct product reviews with both engineering and Product Planning as needed to ensure delivery of a correct data model.
  • Export of files in various file extension such as, but not limited to: .csb, Maya, and FBX.
  • Determine schedules, sequences and assignments for work activities, based on priority, quantity of equipment and personnel skill.
  • Monitored employee work levels and optimized performance with strategic approaches.

  • Started and established the Nissan Virtual Garage in Farmington Hills, MI - reported to Linda Kato of Nissan and Peter Stevenson of RTT.
  • Assisted 3DExcite (RTT) in winning the GM Virtual Garage contract currently being held at 3DExcite in Royal Oak, MI - reported to Peter Stevenson.
  • Was a GM onsite consultant for 2 years at the VEC in Warren, MI - consulting the team on how to create assets to be used and visualized on the Powerwall at the VEC - I managed Joe Alef (former 3DExcite employee, now a current GM Employee) and reported to Anthony Trecapelli.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Create Color and Trim Series differentiation Images for all price classes and all vehicle programs by obtaining design data from Design Studios (multiple data formats), Create images using CGI Software (various), obtaining and implementing fabrics and finishes. Render seat sew styles and create final images in Photoshop to be implemented as hard copies, PowerPoint presentations and web images. Create PowerPoint presentations as required. Assist all Designers with Photoshop Projects and questions. Support of lifecycle program images. Schedule, Operate and maintain printing and presentation equipment. Maintain Electronic images through the life of the vehicle as required and support PDM (Product Decision Meetings) with top corporate management.
