Priamary Duties
Use hardware and soldering techniques, multimeters, technical data and everyday tools
Master the principles of electronics, refrigeration, hydraulics, power generation, reciprocating engines (gasoline and diesel), gas turbine engines, pneumatics and heating
Service, inspect and troubleshoot, repair and perform preventive maintenance on motor- and engine-driven generator sets, load-banks, air conditioners, hydraulic test stands, air compressors, bomb lifts, heaters and other similar support equipment
Coordinate and deliver Aerospace Ground Equipment to Remotely Piloted Aircraft MQ-1, MQ-9, and ground control stations
Supervise personnel and provide expert knowledge to airman ensuring scheduled and non-scheduled inspections are completed on all ground support equipment
Secondary Duties
Work section lead safety advisor ensure personnell follow OSHA and EPA standards, inform personell of updates on Airforce Instructions and safety standards/policies, ensure personnel are aware of Personel Protective Equipment for their performing task, and conduct weekly safety inspections
Track/maintain training within work section ensure personell are properly trained, annual and bi-annual computer based training are completed on time, and ensure personnel are deployment ready
Master custodian of classified and un-classified records within the work section ie file, organize, and maintain accurate record location within computer system
