Advocate Community Resources (ACR) is an agency that provides residential support to individuals with developmental and physical disabilities within the Calgary and Southern Alberta regions.

ACR is funded by the Alberta Government's Persons with Developmental Disabilities (PDD) sector. ACR receive individual referrals from PDD, determine if the referral is the right fit for the services we provide at ACR, and, if so, find those individuals a 'Support Home' placement.

A 'Support Home,' is a regular home, where the home owner/renter becomes the 'Service Provider' to the individual with disability. Service Providers are subcontractors and they sign an annual Service Agreement with ACR to provide Service to a disabled individual according to ACR's policies and procedures.
