ADMINISTRATOR
Professional Summary

Talented Administrator highly effective at increasing positive culture while motivating teams and streamlining operations. Analytical problem solver and persuasive communicator with a talent for thinking outside the box for creative student based solutions. Focused education professional with experience helping young students achieve their goals and milestones through a student centered whole child approach to early learning. Talented at building lasting relationships and partnering with others to meet school wide objectives.

As a successful teacher and administrator with over 15 years of experience in Metro Nashville Public Schools, I am ready to apply my professional knowledge accumulated though a variety of roles supporting students, families, and staff in a new educational setting. I am looking forward to new insights as well as continued professional growth that will continue to raise my effectiveness while challenging my creativity. I also believe the shared leadership approach I bring will align and support the shared learning classroom environment.

While looking for trends regarding student proficiencies and deficiencies in relationship to developmental milestones in the early years it is rare they will be identified using the data alone. Identifying these trends takes a multi-faceted approach combining observations in multiple environments, during preferred and non-preferred activities, structured and unstructured I value staff members time, expertise, and interest along with seeking their input to best understand the highest priority needs as well as collective strengths. The collective data set is reviewed and cross referenced with any past data available to identify areas in need of high quality differentiated professional development. This shared process resonates as meaningful and increases buy in from its participants, that translates to higher implementation and accuracy when returning to the classroom. The corelation to the classroom is then evidenced by increased teacher effectiveness ratings and increased growth towards or mastery of goals/objectives by the student. In addition to the levels of teacher effectiveness and student proficiency both increasing many classrooms begin to see more of a shift to a student centered format where the students curiosity is valued much in the same manner of the teacher input and the teachers and staff seek student input on their own learning.

Strong family partnerships are another key to student success during the preschool formative years. I have hosted a variety of School events where families can learn how to support their early learner in their home, have make and take activit3es, or learn about extensions that allow the family to connect and extend their students learning from schools to the home environment though the use of quick, simple, and fun activities. The opportunities are instrumental in student success especially supporting development in the area of language, recall, and making connections.

I hope that this summary and resume shares with you that I am an inspiring leader who produces positive results and fosters an environment where inquiry is welcome, continuous improvement is sought, differences are celebrated, learning is loved, and collaboration is valued.
