Conduct assessments on inmates with drug and alcohol treatment needs to determine program placement. Conduct pre, mid and post assessments to assist in determining program progression. Make referrals to mental health as determined by cognitive and behavioral functioning and assessment outcomes. Work closely with mental health in assisting those inmate's with special needs to become successful at completing the SAT Program. Facilitate daily classes: hold cohorts as needed. Conduct individual counseling with inmates as needed. Assist Case Managers with inmate pre-release planning and reentry process according to OP-060901. Respond to all programmatic inquires in regards to inmates that are assigned to the SAT program. Participate in the Unit Classification Committee, presenting accurate programmatic information, in regards to inmates assigned to the SAT program. Conduct counseling foe inmate's addressing behaviors, overall adjustment to incarcerations and provide appropriate referrals when needed. Provide significant information to inmates concerning family, marital and other social issues and contacts. Be aware and knowledgeable of programmatic policy and procedures, revisions, additions or deletions and implementation of revised procedures as they become effective. Complete and maintain appropriate monthly offender SAT program files and filing system. Conduct Unit Orientation as inmates move onto the unit. Maintain the Unit Job roster for all inmates in the SAT program. Ensue housing areas meet the facilities sanitation standards by conducting daily walk through inspection. Report any deficiencies and maintenance issues. Have open communication with security staff assigned to the unit to assist with facility operations. Conduct ones self in a professional manner in a public sector as well as being a good role model in the work place and for the Department Of Corrections at all times. Promotes harmony and teamwork with other staff and use problem solving.

Administrative Assistant02/2014 to 04/2015ODOCFt. Supply, OK

Maintain and update inmate information on both CRC and computer to include documentation of the inmates movement history daily. Update misconducts, achievements credits, job assignments, earned credit levels, housing assignments and case managers. Assist in posting and distributing inmate time sheets monthly. Coordinate parole process. Resolve issues with parole process unit and other facilities and agencies statewide. Maintain monitoring systems to ensure time compliance and accuracy. Maintain files and log system, when needed. Notify staff of all inmate transfers, paroles, discharges and court appearances. Prepare field files and CRC's for CTU by 5pm daily. Prepare and distribute the facility inmate roster each Monday and everyday needed. Answer phones and distribute messages several times daily. Assist the Records Officer as required. Process discharges and paroles in absence of Records Officers. Type letters and memos accurately and in timely manner. Review and distribute the daily records mail appropriately. Distribute moves lists in a timely manner daily. Forward mail to appropriate agencies. Assisted CCM IV as requested. Complete the SHU daily report. Assisted in Law/Leisure Library when needed or any other facility area where they are short-handed.
