Over the last three years, my responsibilities have dramatically and consistently increased to support a nationally-ranked school of nursing. My efforts specifically assist the operations of the school's 2,200 students, 500 employees, and a $30 million budget that spans across southern California's five locations.

  • Manage special projects for Dean, Senior Associate Dean of Academic Initiatives and Innovation, Associate Dean of Student Affairs, and Director of Operations.
  • Manage system for a school that annually hires 50-60 students into administrative, faculty, and research support positions.
  • Coordinate school-wide meetings and events that include the oversight of multiple university auxiliary services to meet expectations. Includes pre-event coordination of email marketing and management of students that assist with setup and tear down.
  • Oversee ExamSoft learning assessment and exam proctoring software system to process student, faculty, and course data for approximately 1,000 students three times per year.
  • Coordinate 30 program student exit interviews annually. Includes communication with program staff, associate deans, and site directors, and deployment of Skyfactor assessments.
  • Support the Continuing Education Department: update recruitment materials and manage the student registration process for RN Refresher, Perioperative Nursing, and Faith Community Nursing courses three times per year.
  • Manage calendars; draft meeting agendas and minutes; edit letters; and complete projects for the Dean and Director of Operations.
  • Manage and organize all employee and student confidential files within the Office of the Dean.
  • Handle credit card reconciliation, receipt processing, and operational purchases

Major Projects and Accomplishments:

  • Supported administrative task force in preparation for and execution of CCNE 10-year national accreditation site visit and self-study report. Duties included collating physical and digital documents, including school and university policies and governance; faculty and preceptor data; student evaluations; meeting minutes; etc. and some editorial responsibility for the self-study report.
  • Assisted with national and state accreditation agencies' annual survey data collection. Created a complex survey trackingsystem for annual reports that eliminated hours of collection, synthesizing, and reporting. Changed internal NCLEX data tracking system to save time and increase efficiency for delivering reports to leadership.
  • Documented operational processes related to staff and student hiring, purchasing, event coordination, online exam proctoring, and student exit interviews and assessments. Created workflow charts to clarify processes and team member responsibilities.
  • Documented workflow processes for continuing education (CE) courses, including supply purchases, clinical compliance, and certificate distribution. Designed and implemented a FormStack system to process registrations; distribute course evaluations; and auto-generate certificates for all CE courses, department workshops, and school-sponsored conferences.
  • Assisted development and coordination of the central shared digital storage system of information for the Office of the Dean, which allows administrators access to information from any campus.
