I believe that I would be a strong addition to the Lubbock ISD family because of my 19 years of experience working with a diverse-range of students. Currently, I am the Adapted Physical Education teacher at Austin ISD covering the southwest and southeast territory which includes 20 schools total. I excel at behavior modification, differentiated instruction and curriculum development. I take a non-competitive approach to P.E. in the hope that all students can find a way to enjoy being active.   • Included elementary students with severe disabilities in a general physical education environment and direct service to students not able to perform with peers in a general physical education environment due to sensory issues.
  • Provided specialized instructional techniques such as modifications and adaptations to physical education curriculum and equipment based on student's strengths, weaknesses, and unique learning needs.
