  • I have helped to develop a proactive advising system with a smaller college feel for my IA students, this includes high contact, being knowledgeable of all campus resources, and accessible every day for questions and concerns.
  • Beginning in December 2013 I have already advised over 1/2 of our 851 students successfully and hope to see those numbers rise, as it is proven students are more successful when they receive guidance from their academic advisors.
  • I implemented a recruitment model to promote the benefits of our program including our exclusive Innovation minor, Speaker series, Living/ Learning community at Beaty Towers, access to study abroad and internships in the Fall and much more that we have to offer. Our application numbers increased by 500 due in some part to these efforts.
  • Created student success workshops for Preview, Registration, Degree Audits, Transitions for Senior to Professional life
  • Data Reporting- Retention in the program overall/ at UF, in the Innovation minor, by cohort, by college and performance in Fall Connection courses

  • Undergrad readmissions- students who have been out for two consecutive terms must follow a paper intensive process between us and the College that houses their major.
  • During this time I was responsible for updating residency, current coursework, requesting official transcripts and all correspondence between students, academic advisors, Deans and admissions personnel until the student has been successfully readmitted and registered to attend courses.
  • Transfer evaluation- We processed all transcripts and test scores for incoming transfer and freshman students.
  • Supervisor of TE and Student employees, although they're wonderful in their own right
  • Transfer Admission's- evaluated students to make sure they had 60 credit hours or an Associate's degree, 2 years of foreign lang. and a minimum 2.0 GPA from all previous institutions.
  • Recruited and traveled for freshman applicants for our Outreach section.
  • Represented UF at National and State level college fairs from Miami to Atlanta.
  • Gave Admissions presentation at high schools in my Florida territory as well as at the UF Welcome Center

  • The most important aspect of this job was customer service.
  • Promotion: I started at this restaurant as a server and bartender but by showing such a strong work ethic, honesty and genuine care for the business I was promoted to head bartender and Assistant manager within 6 months of being there.
  • Reliability and Punctuality: I worked here for 5 years and rarely missed a day of work
  • Responsible for all employee and customer concerns and handling them in a way that was beneficial and satisfying to both parties.
  • Held the highest sales record for the restaurant, showing I am very capable of multitasking and producing quality work- $1800 one shift
  • Responsible for counting money and doing sales paperwork for all employees at the end of the night as well as locking up the safe and doors before going home.

  • This is by far my favorite job.
  • At this farm I was responsible for the love, feeding and care of 50 plus Clydesdale horses, ponies and stallions.
  • One donkey and a few barn cats were under my care too.
  • The feeding schedule, barn maintenance, grooming and general medical care for these guys was my life for the time I was here.
  • Showed our pony hitch at the Florida State fair and came home with quite a few blue and red ribbons!
