As a 911 dispatcher there are a lot of duties and responsibilities I have to tend to. I answer 911 calls and administration calls. I dispatch for police,fire, and ems. I receive high volumes of calls and emails in the most untimely moments. I greet visitors and respond to telephone and in-person requests for information. I handled some media and public relations inquiries when something large happens in the county. I make copies for responders when needed, send faxes and handle anything incoming and outgoing. I have to be able to type fast and accurately.  I have to be able to multi-task very well, as well as knowledge about how to work the computer and multiple screens. I always stay current on my certifications and continue my education in the field, so I can do my job to the best of my ability. I take down the proper information from the call so I can do my job and responders can do their jobs properly.

I decaled semi trailers and other vehicles. I had to know how to read a blue print to be able to put the decal on. I also had to know how to work the proper tools provided to do the job.
