My philosophy as an educator: I, Charles Bell, believe that every classroom has its own unique community. I understand that my role as the teacher will be to assist each and everyone in developing their own potential and learning styles. I will present a curriculum that will incorporate each different learning style, as well as make the content relevant to the students' lives. I will incorporate hands-on learning, cooperative learning, projects, themes, and individual work that engage and activate students learning.
I’ve learned to adapt to students’ diverse learning styles and experienced in larger group down to one-on-one tutoring a settings. I’m very dedicated to the social and academic growth and development of every student I instruct. I excel in creating a cooperative community in the classroom; while modeling for students the importance of mutual respect, cooperation and safety among one another. I’ve also had the honor of led a advisory group of 7th grade boys where I helped develop social, academic, and critical thinking skills in middle school students.
