I have worked in retail for the better part of my life. I started out at a major car dealership in my home town answering phones and greeting customers as the came in and directed them where to go.
I then moved on as a grocery bagger, then cashier at a grocery store and later moved my way up to working in the front office where I assisted customers with money orders, returns, customer complaints, answering phones, western unions. Also balanced cash drawers and the total safe. I moved on to another local grocery store where I held the same position. We moved to Northern Ky and I got a job at Meijer in the cash office balancing the cash drawers and the total office. Worked at Home Depot as a head cashier and opened up the store. Went back to Meijer as a service coordinator running the front end and cashiers. Moved on to Basic Trust Childcare because the schedule worked better with the age of my children. I worked there for about 3 years and then left tp find something even more flexible for my kids. I worked at Logos Christian Bookstore as a cashier/ customer service specialist. moving up later to floor mgr. making schedules, training, opening and closing the store. After 7 years my kids then were more independent and I could take on a full time job again. I came back to basic trust as a teacher. I feel I am ready for a change in my career and ready for something new and exciting.
