Dear Mr. Crane,
I am writing to apply for the area manager job advertised on your Web site. As a customer-focused individual with vast experience in management I believe that I would make the ideal candidate for the position. I possess valuable leadership skills that I believe would greatly benefit your company.
Currently I hold a full time position as manager of a local coffee shop The Bean Factory in which I am responsible for managing and running a store which sees upwards of 500 customers a day. I am capable of multi-tasking in a high pressured environment while maintaining a positive attitude toward employees and customers. I am also an extremely creative person with lots of ideas for product development and marketing. I am the ideal candidate for this position because I love working with people and I’m an exceptional team leader. When I first began working at The Bean Factory there were only five drink options on the menu and sales were dwindling so I doubled our menu options which saw an immediate impact on sales and footfall. I am always willing to go the extra mile making improvements wherever I can.
With my experience and skills I can make an immediate impact on your company in the role of area manager. I am available to talk about the role at any time. Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Shayna Booker
