Dear Mrs. Rodriguez,
I am writing this letter in response to your advertisement seeking an experienced Activities Coordinator for the Rodriguez Senior Homes. Should I be chosen I am gladly to use my experience in order to serve such a prestigious organization that aids senior citizens and connects them on a social level. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Event Management with two Minors in Social Work and Psychology; as such I am more than qualified to understand how special activities with both senior citizens and their families would boost their morale and Ñin many casesÑ help them heal.
In my current position as Activities Coordinator I managed seven events for at-risk children including Ice Cream Socials and Arts and Crafts. This career would be perfect for me since my experience coordinating activities for children and senior citizens extends to that of helping children connect with the elderly in various clubs throughout the region. One of these children a thirteen-year-old who was suspended for committing truancy robbery and vandalism on school property was sent to my program; in less than two months each activity helped the student extend his imagination and serve as a catalyst for change in himself and his family.
Should I be chosen as an Activities Coordinator I will ensure that both visitor and elderly will feel relaxed and at ease when visiting Rodriguez Senior Homes. We can discuss my experience soon; you can call me at any time in order to set up an appointment. I appreciate your taking this time and considering my experience as Activities Coordinator.
Cordially,
Johnathan Pena
