Dear Ms. Payton,
Please accept my resume for consideration of your production company’s Stage Manager slot. The stage has always been a part of my life. My mother was an actress and my father staged musical numbers. That I ended up a stage manager instead of an actor or musician was only due to my lack of talent in either. Still the theater has been an important part of my life for 20 years now and I do not see that changing.
I know what managing a production to success entails. I have amassed considerable background in all aspects of theatrical production. I have played a hand in scene display working with actors producers and directors background crew suppliers customers and musicians coordinating everyone’s activities with a single goal of getting the best production on stage on time through rehearsal and then every night. My work as stage manager consists of off-Broadway productions of
Pencil Pusher A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum and It Happened Over Two Nights.
I would love to come in and show you my portfolio of stage manager experiences. It is a smorgasbord of productions on cruise ships casinos and dinner theater. Let’s schedule an interview at your earliest convenience.
Best Regards,
Josue Ortega
