Dear Mr. Howard,
I am writing to express my interest in the Study Abroad Coordinator position the University of Kentucky recently advertised. In addition to experience administering such programs I have additionally previously lived overseas. With a Master’s Degree in International Education and eight years of experience administering college-level study-abroad programs I believe I have the needed skills to excel.
In my current Study Abroad Coordinator position I have skillfully and successfully attracted student participants and assisted them with travel arrangements and visa requirements. As someone who has also studied and lived abroad in the past I have a particular understanding of the difficulties students can face when learning in a new environment. To that end I provide training classes to study abroad participants prior to their departure in order to best prepare them. My combined education and experience make me a solid candidate. I have a firm belief in student global participation. I am an excellent problem-solver and can assist students with their needs. With me in the Study Abroad Coordinator Role the University of Kentucky’s students will be gaining a valuable asset.
I look forward to meeting with you to further discuss the available position. Please call me to schedule an interview.
Sincerely,
Breanna Wallace
