Project Help- Service Learning Project. This program was developed to foster in students an altruistic and philanthropic spirit at an early age. Leestown Middle School students make a blanket for the Habitat for Humanity Organization, which they present to a family at the dedication of their new home.
PATH- Mentorship Program. This program, a collaboration with Leestown Middle School, Dunbar High School, and Midway College was developed for Latina students and their families to promote college awareness. Evening meetings occur at the Village Library for students and parents. Monthly meetings occur at Midway College, Leestown Middle School, and Dunbar High School.
Latino Leadership Program. This program was developed with the LMS Latino population in mind, and focuses on social skills, study skills, and college preparation. The program grew into a collaboration with Bluegrass Community and Technical College and currently has 40 student members, who meet with the Latino Outreach Director from BCTC each month.
