I have been employed with the City of Madisonville for over 30 years. I have 12 years of experience in the wastewater department and 15 years with the water department and 3 years as gas superintendent . In these roles, I succeeded in training department employees, cut costs, and managed the set budget in order to save money. As Assistant City Director, I offer 25 years of experience in all departments. I have demonstrated success in providing team leadership and development to manage daily operations and resolve conflicts. I am highly organized with expertise in developing and implementing procedures and record keeping for the Water, Gas, and Wastewater Departments. I have strong technical knowledge in troubleshooting and resolving problems with pump station VFD's and controls, water tanks, and water booster stations. I am highly capable in successfully resolving conflicts with customers in a timely manner and representing the city professionally. I am pursuing the City Operations Director role where hard work and dedication will be highly valued, and will provide the opportunity to assist the Mayor and Board of Alderman to make any needed changes to ensure the city is managed in the most professional manner. I am a strategic-thinking individual experienced in cutting yearly budget in order to stay within the ending balance. I am highly effective and comfortable working with people at all organizational levels. During my 30 years, I have worked with 20 Aldermen, 6 Mayors, 4 City Recorders and numerous employees.
