Promoted from a field technician preforming Sandblasting and Ceramic Coating in oil refineries, Cetek relocated me to Cleveland. I quickly became the lead estimator working directly with sales and customers to develop the quotes for sand blasting and coating projects around the world. This required extensive blue print reading. In depth knowledge of Microsoft office suite and various supporting applications.
Once a project was sold I was involved with staffing and training. Training both operational as well as safety requirements. With Safety First as a core value of the corporate culture both at Fosbel / Cetek as well as in the refineries I spent a large part of my time involved with Safety.
For the year prior to taking over the warehouse position I held the position of Safety / QC supervisor. My duties at this time included conducting annual safety training and the safety training of new hires. The generation of Job Hazard analysis's (JHA') of new of new tasks.
I was often required to preform the role of onsite safety officer at numerous refineries around the word. In this role I was required to explain our work flow to plant safety personnel and update our procedures as required to meet plant specific requirements.
Began working for Cetek as a field Technician. In this position I preformed sandblasting and the application of Ceramic Coatings. Ceteks proprietary coating is sold predominately to oil refineries. This position required routine safety training as all work was preformed in confined spaces.
This position required routine extended travel both domestically and international. The work was physically demanding requiring working extended 12 hour shifts.
