I'm a hard worker who learns quick, I can troubleshoot and repair equipment, ect: bolters, jumbos, loaders, continuous miners, and trucks. -Work on all underground and surface power distribution. Take care of the surface crusher and conveyor belts. Work with Electrical Technician on troubleshooting the main hoist when needed to better understand the operation. Troubleshoot electrical equipment from 120v through 13.8kv. Troubleshoot and build Jumbo boxes for bolters and jumbos. Complete daily PM's as needed for efficient electrical eqiuipment.
-Worked as Underground Electrical Leadman from 2009-2011. Responsibilities included running a crew of 16 guys, doing SOP's, maintaining all underground electrical equipment and working on mobile underground equipment. Attended morning line out meetings for daily jobs and to schedule tasks for the day and outages for electrical change overs. Spliced high voltage feeders that had been damaged and on new installs.
-Attended GBC training classes for basic through advanced electrical on equipment. Had classes on basic through advanced hydraulics to better understand how the electrical and hydraulics work together.
-Attended several equipment classes for understanding of all the electrical components and operation for troubleshooting purposes.
-I was part of the Barrick Goldstrike Underground MIne Rescue team until I transfered to Barricks Turquoise Ridge MIne.
-Attended Arc Flash Class to work on High Voltage equipment safely.
-Worked on new installs ranging pulling wire to installing new electrical gear.
-During this job if something was not correct and they wanted it fixed in a timely manor they would ask me to do the job.
-Worked on the start-up crew for Elkhorn at the Exxon Mobil Gas Plant located in Wyoming. During this I was involved in working under compressed air for rewiring of instruments and correcting problems that needed addressed. I had to solder control wires in PLC control cabinets, install new wiring, add new controls when needed.
-August 2002-September 2002. I worked at the Coolidge Power Plant Project in Coolidge, AZ. I worked on the High Voltage terminations, control wiring, and conduit runs.
-September 2002-May 2003. I worked at the Wise County Power Plant Project in Poolville, TX. I was part of the conduit install crew and new Electrical Equipment install.
-July 2003-November 2003. I worked at Couer Rochester Mine on the Crusher relocation project. I ran a small crew of 5 guys installing cable tray and pulling cable until all cable installs had been completed.
-I was then transfered to TIC's job at Barrick Goldstrike. I was the only electrician on this job. Tasks on this job included, new cable install for motors that had been moved, locating power sources to tie in to existing electrical circuits, helping other crew members locate MCC buckets to isolate power sources for Lock Out Tag Out. I completed two Arc Flash Training Classes during this time to learn how to work safely on energized equipment.
-I have attended several courses at Great Basin College in Elko,NV. The classes consisted of basic electrical to advanced electrical on 24v systems. I have completed hydraulic classes to better understand how it works in conjunction with electrical components.
-Attended a Atlas Copco Training program to work on the Atlas Copco bolter.
-Sandvik Loader class for schematic reading and to stay familiar with the equipment.
-FNT Fiber Training to receive a fiber certification to splice and terminate fiber.
-Cattron Remote training to better understand the circuitry of the circuit boards for troubleshooting purposes
