Wildland Fire provides much more than a job for me, it grants me opportunities to better myself. I am anle to keep a good attitude in the harshest of situations. I am known for my hard work ethic, willingness to learn, humble but confident mindset, as well as my passion for wildland fire.
OBJECTIVE: To obtain a seasonal position with a federal agency.
Post season AAR: This season was filled with growth, becoming more of a team player, carrying fuel, running saw. I was put into a leadership position: from getting meals, batteries, briefing, safety, scouting, leading grids, giving breaks, there is a lot of accountability that goes into being a squad boss.
This season taught me a lot about leadership and the responsibilities that come with it in the wildland interface.
Looking on ward for the 2022 season it is my goal to learn as much as I can about weather and wildland fire. Planning on taking the S-270 Basic Air Operations with local resources.
