Provided supervision over unit's training requirements to enhance the unit's readiness. Responsible for monitoring non MOSQ Soldiers and submitting individual training requirements. Forecast and coordinate school seats via ATRRS. Develop and publish unit training calendar and schedules, forecast ammo requirements. Forecast and secure training resources to include training site. Responsible for updating and maintaining the unit mobilization files. Coordinate, compile and produces the Unit Status Report (USR) and Commanders Training Assessment (CTA). Knowledge of the Automated Fund Control Orders System (AFCOS), Defense Travel Management System (DTMS, Army Training Requirements and Resource System (ATRRS) and a basic understanding of Microsoft based programs. Perform other duties as assigned.
Maintained all training support materials. Prepared materials for advising the unit commander on unit mobilization posture and requirements. Provided the information required for the unit status report. Attended all unit training assemblies, and annual training periods providing assistance and guidance in the preparation for and execution of unit training. Conducted preparatory visits as required to training sites to ensure availability of and to procure required training areas, range, and training equipment. Maintained the unit MOS qualification training program.
Advised and assisted the Company Operations Readiness NCO on military education requirements and forwarded applications for Army Service schools. Assisted in planning, updating and executing unit mobilization plans and loading plans, and unit supply planning. Attended schools and conferences as required by training, development and military education requirements. Became familiar with, operates and obtain passwords for RLAS, ATRRS, ITRS, TAMIS and any other training/training support systems or future systems that came on line.

Coordinated training programs for the unit to include the scheduling of training areas, obtaining equipment and other materials required for testing of personnel and training scorer/evaluators or test officers. Procured, designed, reproduced, and distributed a variety of training aids, map overlays, and transparencies that were necessary to unit personnel for the efficient operation and training of the unit.
Managed use of school quotas, training support and other training resources as allocated to the unit. Prepared and forwarded requests for training for all unit members ensuring applicants are eligible to attend the school requested and all prerequisites have been met. Prepared or requested the appropriate personnel actions upon completion of required training and other qualifications. Coordinated, scheduled, and monitored the use of training facilities, areas and ranges for annual and inactive duty training.
Made recommendations regarding training facilities best suited to the unit in achieving its goals and objectives. Initiated requests for equipment training support to higher, adjacent, and other military commands to support unit training objectives.
Assembled and maintained statistics on weapons qualification, crew qualifications/table certifications, Army Physical Fitness Test, weight control, Common Task Testing, Military Occupational Skill Qualification and other critical data as required. Trained unit leaders on how to maintain leader books and other training material as directed by the command.
