• Assist with ongoing community behavioral health needs assessments.

Participate in appropriate center and professional association committee meetings.

• Participate in continuous quality improvement activities including the development of outpatient policies and procedures and the establishment of program goals and objectives.
• Conduct initial evaluations and client intake interviews; assess client’s presenting problems and formulate diagnosis. Develop, implement and modify, as necessary, client’s treatment plans.
• Maintain an active caseload, providing individual, group, family, marital, and child therapies as needed and within area of expertise and limits of credentials; assure procurement of additional services as needed. Provide crisis management for clients, including on-call, hospital and jail consults; make recommendations for interventions as appropriate; make determinations of client competency, danger, social security disability, etc.
• Maintain a high level of ethical conduct regarding confidentiality, dual-relationships and professional stature. Maintain client and program records in accordance with applicable standards and regulations, grant requirements, etc. Monitor caseload to assure compliance for third party payors, including chart reviews, completing prior requests and pre-certification. Ensure that staff maintain compliance with managed care, billing, data entry, and documentation requirements.
