  • I adhere to established instructions and procedures to perform thorough testing ensuring full functionality of the trains for BART's Fleet of the Future.
  • Upon completion of the 6-week initial training, I willingly accepted field assignments and other tasks offsite to gain additional and hands-on knowledge. I quickly developed a comprehensive technical knowledge of my team's function. I gained respect and credibility from my manager and among peers as a reliable resource to identify and resolve unique and difficult problems.
  • I am reliable and dependable, which quickly gained a good reputation and trust from my manager as one of the few she can rely on to perform completed staff work and meet tight deadlines. I willingly work additional hours to help meet delivery deadlines. I was an integral part of the team which worked collaboratively with the engineers to successfully deliver the first set of trains cars to BART.
  • On my own initiative, I conduct a daily assessment of the team's work, develop a timeline and distribute tasks in accordance with the skill sets of my teammates. The timeline is mutually beneficial to the team lead and the rest of the team, to evaluate progress and stay on track. At the end of the day, I voluntarily assist team leads to complete end-of-shift reports and other daily paperwork, often staying late to do so. My contributions improved the team's efficiency and overall performance.
  • Through a given work day, I exercise good judgement to redistribute tasks to fill any gaps and reduce idle time. This maximizes our team's resources and increases overall production.

This helped ensure the test area ran smoothly with as little delay as possible.
  • When our Warranty Team was short handed, I volunteered to go to the Daly City and Richmond locations. I worked closely with warranty engineers, BART supervisors and staff to perform a wide range of troubleshooting and repairs. I was instrumental in quickly identifying issues and resolving them, despite being new to the job. BART was able to put these cars back into service quickly, minimizing impact to the riders.
  • I contribute to the Plant's overall safety and work environment. When masks were in shortage, I brought in a number of cloth masks and distributed them to coworker; I was instrumental in procuring a custom made cover for the Plant's copy machine to prevent bird droppings and dust falling on the machine; I also brought from home fabric and acrylic to make test equipment, which were important steps in testing process.
