Project Overview: Provider Search V2.0
NDB provider search supports 33 applications (Internal and External), with 50 different flavors of Physician and Facility services. E&I, M&R, C&S AND Tricare are the main business segments supported by NDB. Currently, the number of search requests averages 600,000 per day, way higher than its initial requirements of 40,000 searches per day. Other requirements that have drastically changed from inception to current state are Search Radius, Search Request Types, Search Response data and data volume increase have created limitations in the existing infrastructure in (DB2& Oracle).so we have moved Hadoop framework

NDB is centralized database for UHG network claims. It stores all the data regarding provider's details like Demographics, contracts and credentials. All the claim engines will interact with NDB for authentication purpose. DB stores all pricing information, it used for claim repricing.
We built a search application which will enable all the calling apps to interact and get the provider information. A star Schema dimensioning model was inherited on to the DB2 for this design.
IBM provides technical support to various applications of DBS, operating from various geographic regions viz. Singapore, Hong Kong, China and India. IBM offshore development facility is used to provide the majority of the day-to-day software development, maintenance and support activities using split project teams at onsite and at offshore. Services include Maintenance and Production support, Enhancements and Application Development Projects for DBS systems.
Collateral Host System is comprised of Facility Collateral Link System which links the facilities provided to the customers with the collaterals owned by customers, Borrower Index System which assigns a unique Borrower Index to which the Bank Users can tag the facilities provided, Collateral Monitoring System which is an Online Application that continuously monitors the value of collaterals like shares and assets and this information is used in Credit Decisions and Credit Management System which collects information from all the credit systems and evaluates the Bank's Current Financial Position.
Also involved in the Development of Debt Manger System for Indonesia. This application extracts the Data of Unsecured Loans and creates New Accounts Details and Updates on the existing Accounts. These systems also extract account information for Delinquency Reminders and Cured Accounts and send this data to the other interfaces Responsible for delivery in Collateral Host Applications.
