Recruited screened, interviewed and referred qualified applicants to fill Host Home vacancies for person who were Intellectually/developmentally disabled and who were eligible under the Medicaid Waiver program. Provided instruction to and assisted individuals in becoming host home providers. Assist applicants throughout the licensing process through the State. Submitted applications to the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities for review and approval and collaborated with state officials to define areas of need. Conduct bi-monthly information sessions with prospective host house homes providers. Composed and wrote home studies for State approval. Major Accomplishment - Ninety percent of the homes were approved with no discrepancies.
